Dev8D Love

We know developers love this event, because they keep coming back for more in their droves. We started with 150 participants in 2009, which had grown to nearly 500 by 2010!

Here are just some of the things previous participants have said about Dev8D and why they intend to come back this year…

Steve Coppin discusses the value of Dev8D and the DevCSI project to the work of his department, and why he considers the event a must to attend.

George Kroner from Blackboard explains why he finds Dev8D so exciting and why Blackboard are keen to support the event.

Iona Makiola and Lee Scott discuss why they have come back to Dev8D and what they get out of the event from their unique, creative perspective.

More Dev8D Love!

Loved the Arduino workshops today! Has made me want to buy one, and experiment and use in very useful applications! Also, considering how good dev8D 2009 was, this year was far better, and look forward to hopefully attending next year!

I found dev8D awesome and very well organised: I’ve learnt a lot of stuff, met a lot of interesting people, and definitely got a lot out of it! I think there should be more events like these, this is fantastic! The expert zone was great to get an overview of what’s going on. As to back such events politically, I would argue that mixing talented people together in such a fashion is definitely very good for the software industry in the UK!

Loving the expert zone, its been a while since I’ve learnt so much in just 1 hour.
